Job summary

Subway - 44951-0 is hiring a Subway Team Member to focus on guest experience and food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will help prepare and serve fresh food, keep the store clean, and work as part of a supportive team.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. The role offers varied Full Time/Part Time and day/evening/weekend shifts at different locations, with compensation to be discussed.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Physical: ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent Guest experience from start to finish.
• Prepare and serve fresh food, maintaining quality and presentation.
• Keep restaurants clean and beautiful and maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
• Be a Team player and assist teammates as needed.
• Recommend meal options to Guests and fulfill orders.
• Uphold food safety standards during food preparation and service.
• Operate the restaurant workspace including the Point of Sale system when needed.

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education: Some high school or equivalent

Experience: No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
