Job summary

Subway is seeking a Team Member (Sandwich Artist) to focus on guest experience, food preparation, and restaurant cleanliness. You will work with a team to deliver high-quality service from order to fulfillment.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. Positions may be Full Time or Part Time with Day/Evening/Weekend shifts, varying by location. Compensation is discussed at the interview stage.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Standing and walking the entire shift with occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
• Willingness to work flexible Full Time/Part Time shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest experience by taking and fulfilling orders from start to finish.
• Uphold food safety standards while preparing and serving fresh food daily.
• Maintain a clean, pleasant restaurant environment with teammates.
• Assist guests with meal options and ensure accuracy of orders.

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education

Some high school or equivalent

Experience

No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
