Job summary

Subway Team Members provide an excellent Guest experience, prepare and serve fresh food, and maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment. You’ll work closely with teammates to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently while upholding food safety standards.

No previous experience is required for this entry-level role; some high school or equivalent education is acceptable. Training will cover POS use, food prep, and customer service essentials.

Qualifications

• Some high school or equivalent education required.

• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand/walk during shifts; operate POS system.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill orders end-to-end.
• Uphold food safety standards while preparing and serving fresh food daily.
• Collaborate with teammates to keep all restaurant areas clean and welcoming for Guests.

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfil their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education

Some high school or equivalent

Experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
