Job summary

Subway in Miami is seeking a friendly Sandwich Artist to greet guests, take orders, and prepare fresh sandwiches from start to finish.

You will follow food safety standards, work with teammates to keep the restaurant clean, and participate in training with hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. No experience required; shifts vary by location.

Qualifications

• Some high school or equivalent is acceptable.
• No previous experience required.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests with meal options and fulfil orders from start to finish.
• Uphold food safety standards while preparing and serving fresh food daily.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere for Guests.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfil their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education

Some high school or equivalent

Experience

No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
