Position Summary:

Marucci Sports is looking for a Sanding and Finishing Specialist! You will be responsible for sanding wooden baseball bats to the quality specifications laid out by the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Sanding wooden baseball bats by hand.
• Implementing quality control methods to meet the high standards set by the company.
• Technique to sand wooden baseball bats by hand.
• Set-up and maintain work areas and maintain equipment in accordance to safety procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory.
• Inspect sand jobs and materials, adjusting practices to ensure quality work.

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Wood working experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience using hand lathes is preferred but not required.
