Job summary

North Carolina Department of Public Instruction seeks an Education Program Consultant II (NS) to provide leadership to Public School Units in digital-age learning across the Sandhills region. This home-based role requires up to 60% travel to Anson, Bladen, Columbus, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Moore, Robeson, Richmond, Sampson, Scotland counties and Whiteville City Schools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the education field and four years of related public education experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide district leadership teams with planning support for NC Digital Learning Initiative and PSU integration.
• Guide PSUs to leverage NCED Connect (Home Base) for digital literacy and related programs.
• Offer regional support to evaluate, implement, and sustain emerging technologies.
• Support school library media programs in the Sandhills region.
• Serve as primary DTL Division contact and resource for the assigned region.
• Collaborate with division teams and educational leaders to support PSUs.
