Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a manufacturing professional to sand furniture and components to a high-quality finish at our United States facility. The role involves operating palm sanders, machine sanders, and veneer sanding, with strict attention to surface quality and color putty where required.

• Sanding of furniture and components.
• Use of Air operated palm sander, hard block, assorted blocks and foam to sand.
• Use of machine sander.
• Sanding Veneer.
• Responsible to look for scratches and putty areas that may need to be filled with proper color putty.
• Steaming of dents.
• Breaking of edges on drawers, doors and other case good parts that will run through the machine sander.
• Racking of items as they are completed by order number and room number.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds

Compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $22.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
