Job summary

DFC Company in Rosemount, MN is seeking a Shop Technician to perform sandblasting and painting of stock and custom products, assist with fabrication, and operate shop equipment. You will tend automated production machinery and help organize materials for shipment.

Join a team focused on safety and efficiency, load/unload deliveries, and maintain a clean, organized shop and yard while meeting production goals with the Shop Manager.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious and able to operate in a manufacturing shop environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform sandblasting and painting of stock and custom products.
• Assist with fabrication and manufacturing processes in the shop.
• Operate shop equipment for shearing, punching, and sawing materials.
• Tend automated and semi-automated production equipment.
• Organize, pull, package, and ship materials, hardware, and finished products.
• Load and unload freight trucks and job-site materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard.
• Safely operate forklifts and other mobile equipment.
• Support various shop operations and special projects as assigned.
• Follow all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the Shop Manager and team to meet production goals.

Shift and Time

7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays), Seasonal

Valid Driver's License Required

Summary

Physical Requirements

• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
