The Sand Truck Driver – Night keeps The Summit at Snoqualmie's parking lots and resort roadways safe through the afternoon and evening, when daytime melt refreezes and guests are leaving or arriving for night skiing. Reporting to the Snow Removal Supervisor, this seasonal role operates a CDL sand truck across all base areas on a 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shift. The role exists because surfaces change quickly as temperatures drop after sunset, and guests and employees need safe footing and traction on their way out. Success means lots and roadways are treated ahead of the evening freeze, the truck is in safe working order, and every shift ends without incident.
