Harrison Steel has an opening on first shift with its automated molding line to assist in creating large sand molds that will be used to create steel castings. Working as a team, the area is responsible for the entire creation of a mold. The molding process involves several different steps, such as:
The employee regularly work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Also exposure to outdoor weather conditions, non-weather related extreme cold, water and humidity, and the risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The usual noise level is very loud. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
