Job summary

Smart Sand, Inc. is seeking Equipment Operators for the Last Mile Solutions team to operate equipment and unload sand trucks. You will work under the Regional Field Service manager while coordinating with other managers and team leads.

The schedule is 20 days on, 10 days off, with 12+ hour shifts. Responsibilities include pre-start checks, rig-up, safety compliance, and ongoing maintenance; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a clean MVR.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Good judgment required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloads sand trucks and operates equipment such as telehandlers and skid steers.
• Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance; reports defects.
• Ensures safety and security standards are followed; maintains environmental considerations.
• Operates with clear communication to supervisor and team; assists others as needed.
• Adheres to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and conducts post-operation site walkthrough.
