Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Sand Blast Operator in Cincinnati, OH. You will operate sandblasting equipment to clean and finish metal parts, inspecting components before and after blasting to ensure quality.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 5 pm with competitive hourly pay of $23.00 to $26.00, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, Life and Disability Insurance, and a 401(k). This is a safety-focused environment emphasizing quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or sandblasting experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and finish metal parts.
• Inspect components before and after blasting to verify quality standards.
• Load and unload parts into blasting cabinets or work areas.
• Mask or protect designated areas prior to blasting.
• Monitor blast media and equipment performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.
• Use measuring tools and visual inspections to ensure quality.
• Package and stage completed parts for production or shipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Stand and move throughout the workday

• Steel-toed boots required
