Qualifications

• Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or Somali advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and investigate sanctions-related activities and enforcement in Africa, focusing on Al-Shabaab financing.
• Analyze revenue sources, funding methods, and illegal taxation systems; map possible sanctions violations.
• Prepare high-quality reports for the Al-Shabaab Sanctions Committee and the Security Council; contribute to recommendations for improved implementation.
• Deliver briefings, contribute to capacity-building efforts for Member States, and participate in investigative missions and consultations.
