Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field; 10+ years experience preferred.
• Strong field research or investigative experience required.
• Experience in writing high-quality reports is required.
• Knowledge of sanctions regimes in UN/NGO contexts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sanctions measures and investigate violations within Africa-focused mandates.
• Provide analysis of licit and illicit trade to inform Panel reports and updates.
• Investigate exploitation of natural resources linked to sanctions violations.
• Prepare and deliver briefings on sanctions regimes and Panel activities.
• Assist in strengthening state capacities to implement sanctions.
