Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ophthalmologist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care. The candidate should also be highly interested in owning and growing a practice. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the challenges, rewards, independence, and self-determination that come with practice ownership. Compensation is based on collections, but there will be a regionally competitive base salary during the initial phase while the associate works to grow their practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive eye examinations and diagnoses for a wide range of ocular conditions.
  • Perform surgical and non-surgical ophthalmic procedures as needed.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients about their eye health.
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuous education.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree with completed residency in Ophthalmology.
  • California Medical License
  • Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology (must be board certified within two years of joining).
  • Strong clinical skills and experience with office procedures and surgery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to patient care and ethical practice.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to growing the practice through community engagement.
  • Preference for candidates who can start in Spring/summer 2025
