Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Forklift and Building Materials Operator for our distribution center on the Port of San Antonio. The role runs on a daytime shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm with potential overtime.

You will move building materials, load products, and document shipping and receiving activities while maintaining safety and accuracy. Ideal candidates have prior sit-down forklift experience (9,000–17,500 lb capacity), the ability to lift up to 50 lb, and familiarity with SAP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift with 9,000 to 17,500-pound capacity.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move or slide up to 100 pounds.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain propane or gas forklift to move products from stock lines to staging and/or cut stations.
• Safely load products and count units, recording shipping and receiving activities.
• Contribute to safety by using PPE and reporting unsafe practices.
