Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking a motivated student to join our internship program in civil engineering and related disciplines.

You will work on a collaborative team, supported by experienced professionals, and participate in career-building events and training. Applicants must be full-time students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields and must be prepared to commit to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Collaborative team player capable of working 40 hours per week.
• Willingness to participate in mentor programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team while being mentored by BGE employees.
• Attend events and training geared toward career development; interns participate in intern-specific activities in addition to normal work activities.

Requirements

• Must be full-time student in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency with business software (MS Office) and ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong collaborator who works well on a team.
• Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
