Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a detail-oriented technician to maintain and troubleshoot photolithography equipment in a fast-paced cleanroom environment. You will monitor systems, log data, and train junior staff while collaborating with engineers to resolve issues.

The role requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of safety protocols, 5S, TPM concepts, and a willingness to learn and adapt to procedures.

Position Summary

Be part of a team that maintains and improves highly complicated Photolithography Equipment in a fast-paced environment. This position will be Responsible for the high-level maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical equipment in strict accordance with SOPs. This role involves detailed data logging, cross-functional collaboration with engineers, and the technical training of junior staff. The candidate must be able to problem solve and understand details of the photolithography system to be able to resolve unscheduled events. Effective communication, problem solving, and teamwork are key attributes an individual must possess.

Skills and Qualifications

Here’s what you'll need:

• Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience, and/or 2+ years direct applicable photolithography semiconductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment.


• Familiar with Clean Room Environment.


• Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Certifications.

The current base salary range for this role is between $26.00 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
