Sample Production Planner, your new opportunity?

As a Sample Production Planner, you will perform essential tasks to ensure the successful fulfillment of sample requests. You will serve as a point of contact for Sales, Sale Support, and Customer Care regarding Sample Requests.

1. Address incoming customer requests by creating and releasing process orders to the manufacturing team.
2. Determine and create appropriately sized process orders to meet customer demands for non-stock requests based on requirements.
3. Organize process order paperwork and labels into production packets before releasing to Lab Scheduler.
4. Source missing intermediate or raw materials from other Givaudan affiliates and coordinate with the Sample Material Planner to complete process orders on time.
5. Maintain internal "Tracking" notes in LCMS to monitor request progress, delays, and late codes.
6. Keep Customer Care and NA Sales Support informed about sample issues affecting service levels.
7. Follow up daily on assigned requests, update backlog, enter correct late order reason codes, and escalate issues when necessary.
8. Participate in safety, sanitation, quality trainings, audits, and continuous improvement projects.
9. Comply with relevant requirements including GMP, FSSC, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, KOSHER, and internal safety guidelines, and follow local and regional planning procedures.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to planning, process orders, and customer requests, updating supervisors accordingly.
11. Serve as a backup for other planning functions within the sample organization.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of related experience, or 1+ years with an associate degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
