Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a Samples/Merchandising Support professional in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. You will manage vendor samples, log and store items, and support Buyers and Visual Merchandising with staging for photos and campaigns.

You will also assist the Product Merchandising and Buying offices with data entry, product specs, vendor communications, and line reviews, ensuring accurate trackers and timely reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 3+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
• Understanding of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Physical requirements: sit/stand for extended periods while managing samples or at a computer.

Responsibilities

• Manage samples for photography, ecommerce merchandising and visual teams.
• Receive, log, tag and store all incoming vendor and product samples; maintain organized sample room and library.
• Maintain sample tracking log and database; record details, location and status.
• Manage sample check-out and return for Buyers, Product Merchandisers and Visual Merchandising; follow up on outstanding samples.
• Prepare and stage samples for photography, line reviews, seasonal presentations and marketing shoots; coordinate hand-off of samples and assets.
• Manage sample lifecycle and disposition, including returns, archiving, donations, end-of-season purge.
• Identify and implement improvements to sample organization, storage, labeling and tracking processes.
• Support Mock Store sets; pull, stage and return products and samples as required.
• Provide administrative and data support to Product Merchandising and Buying office; data entry, product specs, vendor tracking, report pulls.
