Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Sample Lab Technician to join our Natural Color Expansion team in St. Louis, MO. You will prepare samples, manage sample room inventory, and support procurement while upholding strict confidentiality and safety standards.

On-site, five days a week, you’ll work with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of samples to customers and internal teams. Training and competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide samples using appropriate equipment and procedures, prepare requests and print labels.
• Manage physical inventory and virtual inventory for sample room stock.
• Assist with procuring inventory from the manufacturing facility.
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality.
• Notify Sample Supervisor of delays or problems.
• Provide backup for other sample room functions and seek efficiency improvements.

Sensient is growing! The Natural Color Expansion is here. We are seeking a Sample Lab Technician to join our growing team! This role will be an integral part of ensuring our customers our product samples in a timely manner.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide all necessary samples using appropriate equipment and procedures. Prepare all sample requests, print labels, and print all related documentation included in packages sent to customers.
• Manages physical inventory and virtually inventory for sample room stock.
• Assists with procuring inventory from our manufacturing facility.
• Builds and maintains relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner adhering to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
• Notify Sample Supervisor of any known delays or problems.
• Provides back up for other Sample Room functions. Seek to improve ways and methods to become more efficient and better serve the customer, both internal and external.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize. Ability to perform efficiently and amicably while working on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to work in a laboratory environment.

• Ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment.
• Ability to operate a fork-lift is a plus. Experience working in a food GMP environment is a plus.
