Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support the receiving, organization, and display of samples across bought and unbought areas. You will partner with Buyers to request samples, coordinate pickups, and maintain clean, organized displays.

Responsibilities include tagging products, coordinating transfers, and assisting in charitable contributions and office sample sales, all while upholding Beyond Retail Group Standards.

Responsibilities

• Receiving all inbound freight
• Organizing inbound samples in either the bought or unbought product areas
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bought and unbought areas on a daily basis
• Help Buyers maintain correct tagging on all products in bought/ unbought areas
• Partnering with the Buying team to request needed samples from the DC or vendors
• Pick-up samples at other locations when requested
• Maintaining display "staging" area for unbought collections
• Assist in locating and/or packing products as needed for transfers to other Buying offices
• Coordinate truck shipments to other Buying offices as needed
• Purging unneeded samples in a timely manner
• Assist in coordinating charitable contributions
• Assist in executing office sample sales
• Demonstrates a commitment to Beyond Retail Group Standards

Physical Requirements

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
