Sample Control Technician/Courier - Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast - Tampa, FL

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Sample Control Technician in Tampa, FL.

The technician's role involves logging, tracking, and managing samples received and shipped, preparing bottle kits, and ensuring accurate documentation of sample handling. They determine sample testing priorities, label and store samples per procedures, and perform pick-up and delivery duties, including driving company vehicles. The role requires lifting coolers with ice and driving as a significant component.

Sample Control Technician I responsibilities include:

• Receiving, unloading, and verifying samples against Chain of Custody (COC), noting discrepancies and resolving issues.
• Logging samples into Lab Management System, labeling, and cataloging containers.
• Preparing sample kits for clients daily.
• Monitoring temperature of freezers and coolers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Cleaning and organizing the workspace daily.
• Maintaining safety and environmental compliance in all operations.
• Driving to collect and deliver samples.
• Performing inventory and stock tasks daily.

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass Motor Vehicle background check

Additional requirements:

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

This full-time position is Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with potential overtime and Saturday hours. Candidates living near Tampa, FL are encouraged to apply.

Pay rate: $18/hr
