As a Samoan Interpreter, you will provide on-demand verbal interpretation between Samoan and English across various industries, including healthcare, emergency services, government, and more. This remote position requires a quiet environment and involves interpreting spoken conversations, not written translation.

Job Details

• Location: Work from Home, United States
• Pay: $0.75 - $0.90 per minute, depending on call time and interpretation level
• Type: Full-time, Phone Interpreter

Responsibilities

1. Respond promptly to interpretation requests and conduct sessions professionally.
2. Accurately convey meanings, adhering to interpretation protocols.
3. Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity at all times.
4. Handle emotionally sensitive calls with composure and confidentiality.
5. Follow client instructions and protocols, especially during emergency calls.

Qualifications

1. Fluency in Samoan and English, with cultural competency.
2. Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
3. Ability to remain neutral and professional, even in stressful situations.
