Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Same-day Surgery unit. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with no weekends, focused on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year of clinical experience. You will work closely with surgeons and staff to ensure safe, efficient recovery and discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current RN License.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Active applicable state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients in the perioperative setting.
• Records medical history, symptoms and vitals.
• Updates patient charts and EHR with accuracy.
• Performs tasks including blood draws and injections.
• Administers medications per doctor orders.
• Complies with nursing regulations, standards and policies.
• Collaborates with nurses, doctors and administrators.
• Demonstrates strong clinical skills and bedside manner.
• Assess and care for patients in PACU and postoperative.
