Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking a Registered Nurse - PACU (Part-Time) to provide specialized post-anesthesia care in a same-day surgery setting. The role requires current RN licensure and a nursing degree, with PACU ASC experience preferred.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient status, and ensuring accurate charging and documentation. The position offers opportunities for growth and requires adherence to hospital policies and patient privacy

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• 2 years PACU ASC experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a same-day surgery setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor supplies use and charging in the center.
• Discharge post-operative patients per facility policies.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
