Longview Regional Medical Center is interviewing for a Registered Nurse for Same Day Surgery. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and ensure high-quality post-operative care in a fast-paced setting.

The role supports patient education, safety and adherence to clinical protocols. The position requires RN licensure in the United States with ACLS preferred, and experience in acute care or PACU is valued.

Qualificações

• RN licensure in the United States is required.
• Experience in Same Day Surgery or PACU is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities as needed.
• Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record and ensure accuracy of information.
