Saint Luke's Physician Group in Kansas City is seeking a BC/BE family medicine physician to join our Same Day Access Clinic team located at the Perryman Primary Care clinic on the plaza.

About the position:

• This full-time position is 4 days a week with 36 patient contact hours required; no weekends, holidays, or call.

• The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, addressing urgent, non-emergent health concerns.

• This role involves diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries, coordinating follow-up care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely access to healthcare services.

• Key responsibilities include providing timely care for patients with acute, non-life-threatening conditions in a same-day clinic setting, along with responsibilities such as medication refills, sports physicals, and annual wellness visits.

• The physician will collaborate with APPs, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care, close care gaps, and assist with scheduling to direct patients to appropriate care levels and follow-up with PCPs.

• Minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, and splinting will be performed, while providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages.

• The candidate should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple patients.

• The role utilizes a fully integrated Epic EMR; prior experience or familiarity with Epic is preferred.

• Requirements: BC/BE in Family Medicine and ability to obtain MO/KS state medical licenses.
