Eide Bailly is seeking an intern to join our State & Local Tax (SALT) team in a part-time role for January–April 2027, with locations in Minneapolis, Denver, and Boulder. The position runs 20 hours per week and requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with SALT projects across state and local tax.
• Research state tax issues to support client engagements.
• Gather, organize, and analyze client information; prepare workpapers and memoranda.
• Support preparation of state and local tax returns and related activities.
• Respond to inquiries from state and local taxing authorities.
• Use AI tools to organize and analyze large data sets.
• Contribute to state tax planning, due diligence, credits and incentives projects.
