Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leadership with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting; or Master's degree in accounting or tax.
• Academic success (minimum GPA 3.0).
• Must be pursuing LLM, JD, or CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide state and local tax consulting services (income, franchise, sales and use, gross receipts, personal property taxes).
• Prepare state and local income and franchise tax returns.
• Write internal and external tax alerts on current tax developments and planning techniques.
• Research complex tax issues and draft technical memoranda.
• Develop interactions with staff at all levels and with clients.
• Deepen knowledge in state/local and federal tax.
