Overview

JCPenney Salon Sales and Education Trainer

The Salon Sales and Education Trainer is responsible for driving sales growth by providing exceptional training, education, and support to store teams. This role combines sales strategy, product and service education, and team motivation to ensure the success of the JCPENNEY Salon.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve sales goals for stores and new product launches.
  2. Identify growth opportunities and propose initiatives to increase revenue.
  3. Develop and oversee focus door and business strategies for assigned stores.
  4. Manage weekly and monthly business recaps to highlight sales and training opportunities.
  5. Review sales reports and create store-specific action plans for training and education.
  6. Complete and distribute training recaps after each store visit.
  7. Review business results and team performance regularly.
  8. Deliver all in-store salon training and education, creating localized approaches.
  9. Evaluate participant skill development and recommend additional training as needed.
  10. Coach and develop staff, deliver technical skills workshops, and facilitate classes.
  11. Stay updated with salon and service trends through social media and industry publications.
  12. Ensure store operational standards, visual merchandising, and brand launches are consistent.
  13. Lead salon managers in executing business strategies, customer experience, and operational processes.
  14. Manage brand launch events and masterclasses to drive awareness and sales.
  15. Partner with store leadership on staffing and respond to associate concerns.
  16. Travel up to 80%, including weekend shifts, and maintain a minimum presence in stores.
  17. Develop and maintain strong partnerships within store organizations.
  18. Manage expenses and complete all reporting promptly.
  19. Develop call cycles and communicate regularly with stores within the territory.
  20. Excel in communication, facilitation, and technical expertise.
  21. Demonstrate leadership through in-field presence and goal orientation.
