Job summary

Regis is seeking a stylist-in-training for a temporary 90-day period to learn the salon business and gain licensure. You will deliver excellent customer service, communicate with management and clients, and assist in daily salon operations while preparing for a promotion to stylist upon licensure.

Responsibilities include marketing the business, observing experienced stylists, handling phone duties, stocking, and assisting with promotions and sales.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license(s) to perform salon services within or before 90 days of hire-date.
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Good time management skills, good judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Computer knowledge including but not limited to point-of-sale systems and data entry.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Market and grow the business by promoting and selling services and retail products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers professionally by name and guide them through the salon.
• Manage and control expenses by following scheduling and charging for services and products.
• Complete administrative tasks and comply with company policies and safety standards.
