Job summary

Canyon Ranch Club in Fort Worth, TX is hiring Hair Stylists to deliver professional hair services, including cuts, blowouts, updos, and wedding styling, with in-room guest service.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas cosmetology license, education in cosmetology, and a related two-year degree or training; strong problem-solving and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license in Texas and completion of cosmetologist education per board requirements.
• Associate degree or two-year specialized training or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving and world-class customer service skills.
• Texas TABC certification within 30 days of employment.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair services (cuts, blow dry, updos, wedding hair) including in-room guest service.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly or escalate to a manager for resolution.
• Educate guests on hair care needs and maintain retail quotas.
• Adhere to Texas Cosmetology Board safety standards and keep hair areas, stations and equipment clean.
• Disinfect all guest contact points with sanitizing spray or wipes after each service.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do as Canyon Ranch colleague

• Member/Guest Service: Provides members/guests with various professional hair services, including Hair Cuts, Blow Dry, Updo and Wedding Hair services, includes in-room guest service.
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving skills to resolve guest concerns at early stages or refers to a manager for further assistance.
• Retail: Educates guests about individual Hair Care needs and maintains retail sales quotas according to Salon Retail Policy.
• Compliance: Adheres to Texas Cosmetology Board safety and cleanliness standards. Maintains upkeep of Hair Areas, work station and equipment.
  • Thoroughly disinfects all points of guest physical contact while at the station with sanitizing spray or wipes to include discarding of any items left behind by member/guest.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to be successful

• Cosmetology license or similar beauty license in Texas
  • Must have completed professional cosmetologist education by accredited school and complete continued education as required by Cosmetology Board.
• Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience required.
• Effective problem-solving skills to resolve guest concerns while delivering world-class customer service
• Texas TABC certification within 30 days of employment
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment
