Zoom Tan is hiring a Salon Sales Associate in a fast-paced Colonie, NY location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, helping clients select tanning services, and driving sales through product recommendations and upselling.

A friendly, professional demeanor and reliability are essential. As a member of the Zoom Tan team, you will work to meet sales targets, maintain salon standards, and contribute to a welcoming environment for clients seeking quality tanning experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly preferred.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend and work for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Assess clients' skin types to recommend tanning equipment and lotions; explain process and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized tanning area and stocked supplies.
• Upsell tanning lotions and products based on client needs and preferences.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining professionalism and service quality.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain accurate client records to personalize each visit.
• Open and close the salon on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and providing them with a warm and welcoming experience.
• Assessing clients' skin types determines the appropriate tanning equipment and lotion for their needs; thorough explanation of the tanning process, including proper positioning and safety guidelines, answering any questions they may have.
• Maintaining a clean and organized tanning area, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that lotions and other supplies are wellstocked.
• Upselling tanning lotions and other products to clients, providing recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Maintaining accurate records of client information, including tanning history and preferences, to ensure a personalized and consistent experience with each visit.
• Opening and closing the tanning salon on time.

Pay

$16.50 + uncapped commission and bonuses

Qualifications
