Job summary

Great Clips salon is seeking a Full-Time Salon Assistant Manager Stylist in San Antonio. You will lead a team, coach colleagues, and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering quality haircuts.

We offer a guaranteed base wage plus product and performance bonuses, tips, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision and dental insurance, 401k with employer contributions, PTO and holiday pay. Hours are 35-40+ per week with sample schedule Mon-Fri 9-8, Sat 9-6, Sun 10-6.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License.
• Experience leading a salon team or coaching staff.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

We are looking for a talented and friendly Full-Time Salon Assistant Manager Stylist to join our team!

Our pay range is $16.00-$40.00+ an hour, which includes a guaranteed base wage, product bonuses, performance bonuses and tips.

This open position is for 35-40+ hours a week. Our hours of operation are:

Monday - Friday, 9am-8pm
Saturday - 9am-6pm
Sunday - 10am-6pm

Our benefits package for stylists working at least 34 hours a week includes health, vision and dental insurance and 401k with employer contribution along with paid time off and holiday pay. Holiday bonuses, etc. apply

What you bring to the team

To join a Great Clips salon team as a Salon Manager, you’ll need:

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations
