Job summary

Sport Clips, Inc. in Gahanna, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager who will run the floor alongside the Store Manager, coach the team, and pursue the path to owning a store. You’ll earn a base hourly rate plus leadership pay and bonuses, with tips and weekend pay boosting earnings.

Responsibilities include floor leadership, coaching for MVP experiences, scheduling help, inventory, and team huddles. You’ll train toward Store Manager roles while maintaining high service standards behind the chair.

Qualifications

Active Ohio cosmetology or barber license is required.
Experience behind the chair with strong numbers or the drive to build one.
Natural leader who supports the team and aims to help others win.
Reliable, organized, and available for weekends and key shifts.

Responsibilities

Run the floor when the Store Manager is off, including opening/closing and managing wait times.
Coach stylists on the MVP experience, product recommendations, and client satisfaction.
Assist with scheduling, inventory, and team huddles.
Lead by example behind the chair and uphold high standards.
Train as the next Store Manager and develop leadership within the team.
