Job summary

Sport Clips, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Salon Coordinator in Erie, PA to deliver outstanding customer service and keep salon operations running smoothly.

You will greet clients, answer calls, manage the reception, process cash and credit card payments, assist in retail and inventory, support marketing efforts, and work with the team to ensure a great client experience. • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Proficiency in computer applications, Microsoft Office, and basic social media platforms.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry.
• Experience in customer service, receptionist, front desk or salon coordination preferred but not required.
• Working towards cosmetology or barber license is highly preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
• Familiarity with hair care products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with a warm and welcoming attitude.
• Answer phone calls and address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area including retail displays.
• Handle financial transactions including cash handling and processing credit card payments.
• Assist in retail sales with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Monitor and maintain salon inventory and place orders for supplies.
• Collaborate with the salon team to ensure smooth operations from reception to cutting floor.
• Perform secondary duties as assigned by the Store Manager (cleaning, stocking, etc).
• Assist in marketing efforts including local neighborhood marketing and social media updates.
• Participate in Sport Clips training.
