Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, foster superior client service, and uphold operational excellence. You will supervise Tanning Consultants to meet company goals and lead by example across all operations, creating urgency to achieve objectives and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for team leadership.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establishes clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights & weekends.
• Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status.
