Description

The Salon Coordinator is responsible for driving sales revenue in the salon and spa. This will be accomplished by booking salon professionals’ open time slots, offering services to clients on the retail floor, adding on services, and rescheduling clients. Our goal is to provide a rewarding and full-service experience for every client in our salon & spa.

Duties and Responsibilities
Client Experience
  • Assist clients with check-in at the salon desk, ensuring high-quality service.
  • Engage and assist clients by educating them on service offerings.
  • Fill available openings in the salon schedule by offering additional services to clients in person and on the phone.
  • Adopt the “never say No” philosophy to accommodate clients by offering alternative appointment times if same-day slots are unavailable.
  • Handle complaint issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
Leadership and Development
  • Build professional relationships with salon professionals and stay informed on all services offered.
  • Collaborate with management to develop salon professionals’ skills, efficiency, and service offerings.
  • Supervise scheduling to maximize productivity and meet sales goals.
  • Recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of salon professionals weekly.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Create a daily plan to fill available appointments.
  • Practice the “just one more” approach to fill the schedule with walk-in or call-in clients.
  • Encourage retail clients to experience services while shopping.
  • Update salon professionals on schedule changes.
  • Maintain and execute the Service Sales Plan each shift.
  • Make confirmation calls and suggest additional services.
  • Meet service sales goals.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with clients.
  • Present a professional appearance, adhering to grooming standards and dress code.
