The LOFT @ la novita salon is seeking a Rising Star—a cosmetology graduate with a passion for hair, strong personal style, and an engaging personality. You’ll join a team focused on collaboration, education, and exceptional guest experiences.

You'll grow under mentorship from accomplished Artists and Senior Artistic Directors, gaining hands-on practice, confidence, and professional skills while building a long-term career in a team-based salon culture.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited cosmetology program.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Artists with salon services, preparation, and daily operations.
• Participate in hands-on education, structured mentorship, and technical development.
• Continue developing skills in cutting, color, styling, consultations, and guest experience.
• Work with supervised models as skills and confidence develop, per licensing requirements.
• Build meaningful relationships with guests through genuine conversation and exceptional hospitality.
• Learn professional salon standards, time management, organization, and service excellence.
• Participate in regular development reviews, self-evaluations, and goal setting.
• Maintain THE LOFT's standards for appearance, professionalism, cleanliness, and guest care.
• Support fellow Artists and contribute to a positive, collaborative salon environment.

The Rising Star Experience

Our Rising Star program is designed to bridge the gap between cosmetology school and a successful career behind the chair. Through structured mentorship, practical education, and ongoing feedback, you'll develop the skills and professional habits that will serve you throughout your career.
