Job description

We are partnering with a leading transportation and logistics company to find a results-driven National Sales Executive. This role will focus on driving new business growth, establishing strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s brokerage division.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly competitive, and eager to grow the company’s customer base in a fast-paced environment. This position offers uncapped earning potential and the chance to make a significant impact on the company’s success.

Location: This is a remote position in the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Prospect and secure new customers, with a strong focus on expanding the brokerage division.
  2. Develop and nurture lasting relationships with shippers, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
  3. Negotiate competitive pricing and contracts, aligning with profitability goals while delivering customer value.
  4. Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
  5. Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage pipeline, and measure performance.
  6. Stay current on market trends, customer needs, and industry changes to identify new business opportunities.
  7. Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities while managing an efficient sales cycle.

Qualifications :

  1. Proven sales experience, preferably in freight brokerage or transportation sales (strong sales background required, freight experience a plus).
  2. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  3. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to meet and exceed targets.
  4. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  5. Resilience and determination - able to thrive in a competitive and fast-moving industry.
  6. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
