Job Description
What is a Salesperson?

Entry level sales position supporting the DIY business, aiming to meet sales and service objectives. Requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and sourcing abilities from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers. Must have in-depth understanding of store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via visits and calls
  • Achieve personal sales goals and support store sales targets
  • Offer DIY services such as battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards
  • Manage inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Ensure store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
  • Stock store items including truck and back stock
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
Success Factors

Prior Experience

What is a Store Driver?

Entry level position supporting parts delivery to commercial customers, assisting with inventory and store tasks. Can be part-time or full-time, must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver parts safely to customers
  • Stage parts for orders, handle returns, and distribute flyers
  • Collect credit payments daily

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, talk, hear, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise. Moderate noise level.
