Job Description
What is a Salesperson?

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving sales and service objectives. Requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive systems, and parts. Must be able to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers. In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its sales goals
  • Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards
  • Manage inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
  • General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

Prior Experience
  • 2-3 years of successful sales experience in retail, providing excellent customer service

Entry level store position supporting parts delivery to commercial customers. Responsible for delivering parts, assisting with inventory, and supporting store operations. Part-time or full-time; fleet safety certification required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers
  • Pick and stage parts for orders
  • Handle returns and cores
  • Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
  • Collect credit accounts daily

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, talk, hear, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work; occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, chemicals, electrical hazards, explosives, vibration. Noise level is moderate.
