Job Description
What is a Salesperson?

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and basic part knowledge. The role involves sourcing from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes is necessary. Position can be part time or full time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
  • Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
  • General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

Entry level store position supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. Responsibilities include delivering parts, assisting with task and inventory processes, and must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
  • Daily collection of credit accounts.

Physical Demands

The physical demands include walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure to weather, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, explosives, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
