Job Description

What is a Salesperson?

Entry-level sales position supporting the DIY business, aiming to meet sales and service objectives. Requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and the ability to source from various suppliers. Knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes is essential. Position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for DIY customers via visits and calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store sales targets
• Offer DIY services such as battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product presentation and operational standards
• Manage inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, and back stock

Secondary Responsibilities

• Ensure store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, dusting, parking lot)
• Stocking including trucks and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
