Job Description

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and basic part knowledge. It must be able to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers, and should have in‑depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. The position may be part time or full time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
  • Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back stock.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
  • Conduct general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

What is a Store Driver

Entry level store position that supports the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The driver is responsible for delivering parts, picking and staging customer orders, and assisting with store inventory processes. The position may be part time or full time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities (Driver)
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.

Physical Demands

Employees will predominantly walk or stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Vision, hearing, and communication requirements include clear vision, hearing, and the ability to produce and understand spoken and written language.

Work Environment

Employees work primarily inside but occasionally outside and may be exposed to weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxins, chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise levels are usually moderate.
