Job Description

What is a Salesperson?

Entry level sales position supporting the DIY business, achieving sales and service objectives. Requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and sourcing abilities from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. Must understand store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries
  • Achieve personal sales goals and support store sales targets
  • Offer DIY services such as battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards
  • Manage inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
  • Stocking tasks including truck stocking and back stock management
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
Success Factors

Prior Experience
  • 2-3 years successful sales experience in retail, providing excellent customer service
What is a Store Driver?

Entry level position supporting parts delivery to commercial customers, assisting with inventory and store tasks. Can be part-time or full-time, must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers
  • Pick and stage parts for orders
  • Handle returns and cores
  • Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
  • Collect credit accounts daily
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Store cleanliness and stocking tasks

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Primarily inside work, occasionally outside exposed to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise. Moderate noise level typical.
