Job Description

Entry‑level sales position supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system and part knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. In‑depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes is needed. Position can be part‑time or full‑time; fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
  • Achieve personal sales goal and help the store reach its sales targets
  • Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards
  • Handle inventory processes including truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, back‑stock, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
  • General stocking: truck stocking and back‑stock
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

What is a Store Driver?

Entry‑level store position responsible for delivering parts to commercial customers and assisting with task and inventory processes in the store. Position can be part‑time or full‑time and must be fleet safety certified.

Physical Demands

The physical demands and work environment are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job. Predominantly walking or standing; requires talking, hearing, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Work is usually indoors but occasionally outdoors with exposure to weather conditions while performing tasks such as installing batteries and wiper blades. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
