Job Description
What is a Salesperson?

Entry-level sales position supporting the DIY business to achieve sales and service objectives. Requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers. Must have in-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
  2. Achieve personal sales goals and help the store meet its sales targets.
  3. Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  4. Maintain store product and operational standards.
  5. Manage inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities
  1. Ensure store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
  2. General stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
  3. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Success Factors
  1. Basic driving and navigation skills.
  2. Ability to use delivery board system.
  3. Friendly communication skills.
  4. Ability to locate and stock parts.
  5. Knowledge of safety procedures.
  6. Operating inventory systems and store equipment.

Prior Experience

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with outdoor tasks exposed to weather. Possible exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise.
