Job Description

What is a Salesperson?

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and part knowledge. It involves sourcing from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers, and maintaining store inventory and processes. Position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store meet its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes such as truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
• Assist with stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

What is a Store Driver?

Entry level position supporting parts delivery to commercial customers, assisting with store tasks and inventory. Part-time or full-time, must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers.
• Pick and stage parts for orders.
• Handle returns and cores.
• Distribute weekly/monthly flyers.
• Collect credit payments daily.

Physical Demands

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, occasionally outside in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving parts, heights, chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, vibration. Moderate noise level.

Compensation Range

$13.15 - $13.98 per hour.
